What we do with your details
Privacy notice
In short: this website collects nothing about you. If you email us, we use what you send only to reply, and you can ask us to delete it.
Who we are
Agridge is run by Agridge Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17499931), whose registered office is at New House Farm, Little Laver Road, Moreton, Ongar CM5 0JE. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZC268681). You can reach us at contact@agridge.co.uk, or by post at the address above. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law.
What we collect
- Nothing through this website. It has no forms, sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and uses no tracking, analytics or advertising tools.
- If you email us: your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write.
- When you visit: like any web host, Cloudflare, which serves this website, sees your internet address so it can send you the pages and keep the site safe from attacks. We don't receive or keep it.
Why, and on what basis
We use your email only to answer it and to deal with what you've asked. That is in our legitimate interest, and in yours: you wrote to us expecting a reply. We won't add you to any mailing list.
Who else handles it
- Google (Google Workspace) carries our email, including emails you send us.
- Cloudflare serves this website.
These companies work internationally, so some of your data may be handled outside the UK, for example when they run their networks or give us support. When it is, they protect it with the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK's approved contract terms for international transfers. We never sell your details or share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked, and no longer than two years after our last exchange, unless the law needs us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us using it. Just email us; it's free, and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
When this changes
When our farm lets survey opens, this notice will grow to cover it, and we'll update it before the survey collects anything.
